[NEWS] Nich Khun’s serenade to Victoria with ‘Nothing Better’ on We Got Married

On MBC We Got Married on 3rd July, make-believe couple Nich Khun and Victoria went to a restaurant where they ate samkyeopsal and also to a karaoke together.

And Victoria requested for Nich Khun to sing the song ‘Nothing Better’ by Brown Eyed Soul which he sang on SBS Star King. And Nich Khun sang the song even though he said that he couldn’t sing.

Victoria said in her interview on the show, “I saw him perform that once on a variety show, but I want to listen to him sing to me,” explaining why she had asked him to sing the song.
On the show that day, the 2 sent out text messages to their team mates to announce their ‘marriage’ and the reply Victoria got from f(x) Sulli was, “We had a father now.”

When Nich Khun asked why Sulli would call him an oppa, Victoria said, “Because I’m the eldest unnie, they call me by mother.”

Nich Khun had seemed shocked to know that suddenly he has gotten himself 4 daughters.

2PM Nichkhun and f(x) Victoria have become a new couple on the MBC real variety show ‘We Got Married.”

Although they have not yet been on an episode, they have finished their first filming. Fans have not had only-complimentary things to say about their pairing.

In the past, there were also many people who opposed SNSD Seohyun and CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa’s pairing on ‘WGM.’ When SG Wannabe’s Kim Yongjun was paired with Hwang Jung Eum; 2AM’s Jo Kwon with BEG’s Ga In; and Lee Sunho with Hwang Woo Seul Hye, though there may have been people who didn’t care, there were few who opposed these pairings. It was only with Seohyun and Jung Yong Hwa’s pairing that voices of opposition were heard.

It is obvious that when current ‘hot’ idols enjoy the married life, it becomes a hot topic. The premise is called ‘real;’ it is the ‘marriage’ that stimulates the fantasy.

Nowadays, idols cannot even appear on entertainment shows properly. First-generation idols from the past (HOT, Sechs Kies, SES, FinKL) used the strategy of mystery. That he was able to pick out Victoria in the picture even though only her back was showing made fans especially sad, and they made their disappointment heard.

Nichkhun and Victoria’s married life hasn’t even officially begun. But fans are already shouting, “We are opposed to this marriage!” “Nichkhun, I’m begging you,” showing their strong disapproval.

It will be interesting to see how fan’s reactions may change once their married life hits airwaves.

[NEWS] f(x) Krystal apologises officially after being criticised for inappropriate broadcast attitude

“I’m sorry for the disappointment for not displaying the proper manners in the previous broadcast appearance.”

f(x) Krystal has been in the limelight for her broadcast attitude during her recently appearance on MBC ‘SaeBaGwi’ and has posted up an official apology for that. During the show that day, seonbae singer Tae JinAh was having a phonecall quiz with Maya, Krystal was seen with a bored experssion, her head lowered and her legs crossed and her toes showing. TV viewers have commented that Krystal had looked, “Uncomfortable.”

Krystal then posted up an apology on f(x) official homepage on 6th June, “I repented on what I did. I will make sure that such will not happen again, and I will always be alert and show my hard-working features. I will apologise again for the worry I caused to fans and TV viewers for not being alert on the show.”

Netizens’ comments on Krytal’s apology was are, “Do work harder in the future”, “Even though your behaviour was a little too much, I still hope to see you do well the next time.” etc.

[NEWS] Rain, Hyori, Wonder Girls to appear in Dream Concert

More than 20 big name K-pop groups and singers are set to perform at a large-scale joint concert next month.

The star-studded line up for the 16th Dream Concert including Rain, Lee Hyori, Wonder Girls, SNSD , SS501, Super Junior, 2PM, Shinee, Kara, U-Kiss, After School, 4Minutes, T-ara, Davichi, MBLAQ, Beast, f(x), Rainbow and F.cuz.

“It is an event to vitalize the slumping K-pop music market and encourage Koreans to enjoy performances. The concert also aims to cheer for the Korean soccer team which will participate in the 2010 World Cup,” said the Korea Entertainment Producers’ Association, the organizer of the concert.

Profits from ticket sales will be donated to an organization for the needy.

The Dream Concert will take place on May 22 at Seoul World Cup Stadium in Sangam-dong, Seoul. Tickets are 5,000 won. For more information, visit here
